Two changes to know about before you calculate your score

• Job offers no longer add CRS points. As of 25 March 2025, IRCC removed the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) bonus for a valid job offer — previously 50 points for most skilled offers or 200 points for senior management roles. Both are now 0 points. A job offer can still help with program eligibility or a work permit, just not your score.
• Category-based draws target specific skills. Alongside general draws, IRCC runs rounds that invite only candidates in a specific category.
